Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) After Claude Shannon passed away in 2001, his first wife, Norma, published her autobiography, where memories of their short marriage and affairs in 1963 and 1966 were disclosed. Maria, who was acquainted with him from 1941 until at least 1944, became psychiatrist and published "Graphotherapy" from her own memories on Shannon. These documents are primary source recording Shannon's words and behaviors, which should be useful to understand his writings. The author has been investigating the digital mechanism of human language, and is convinced that Shannon's theories should be totally thrown away and that Information Theories of John von Neumann should be evaluated and completed for further development of human collective intelligence.
