Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In wireless LAN environments, the mobile communication with the handover has been increased by the rapid spread of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Also, in such environments, the streaming applications that require bandwidth (throughput) are often used. So far, as one of the techniques for guaranteeing the bandwidth by only controlling the terminal, QoS-TCP has been proposed. In this study, we treat TCP-AV which is one of the typical QoS-TCPs. However, TCP-AV is originally developed for wired networks. Thus, it is difficult to guarantee sufficient bandwidth in a wireless LAN environment, because it does not consider the handover. Therefore, in the handover situation of wireless LAN environments, (1) we modify the parameters of TCP-AV, and (2) we propose a receiver window size control by access point (AP). Simulation results show that the proposal which uses both (1) and (2) can obtain necessary throughput compared with the existing method.
