Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For the spectrum scarcity problem, dynamic spectrum access techniques have been investigated recently. In dynamic spectrum access, a new wireless system (secondary user: SU) can utilize the spectrum licensed to an existing wireless system (primary user: PU) while the spectrum is vacant. For accomplishing effective and reliable spectrum utilization by the SU, statistics of the PU's spectrum utilization, such as duty cycle (DC), are useful. In this paper, a spectrum measurement system which can provide DC in Industry-Science-Medical band is presented. In this system, our proposed algorithm median filter Welch FFT for estimating noise floor and DC, and detecting spectrum occupancy, is implemented. Numerical results and real measurement results show validities of the propose algorithm and spectrum utilization measurement system.
