Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, mobile communication traffic has been increasing day by day, and thus, new spectrum resource is consistently required for mobile communications and TV white space is expected as such a new spectrum resource. Authors have developed an LTE communication system utilizing TV white space. In this developed system, both the TV white space and existing LTE bands are available and load balancing of communication traffic is possible in accordance with using status of each band with cooperative radio reconfiguration of radio equipment based on IEEE 1900.4a. In this paper, we demonstrate with this system, that the congestion of communication traffic in the existing LTE band is mitigated by load balancing to the TV white space.
