| Abstract(in English) | The combination of heterogeneous networks (HetNet) and splitting Control and User (C/U) plane have gained momentum in industry and the research community. In C/U-splitting HetNet, both high mobility and large capacity will be achieved by handling control plane in macro cell and user plane in small cell separately. To proof the concept of C/U-split HetNet, we implement such system on our prototype hardware and evaluate its performance. In this report, the design and evaluation process of our C/U-split prototype is presented. |
