Abstract(in English) In this paper, we proposed new ankle joint contracture prevention system for rehabilitation with a functional improvement walking ability and we shows the result of the range of motion in the ankle joint to expand significantly by the continuous use of about 10 weeks. The proposed device is developed to the aim of the relied of symptoms called contracture the movement of the joint deteriorates tense soft tissue around the joint loses elasticity and is occurred by the reason of not move the body for a long time after fracture and hemiplegia. Since it is inevitable to applying a large force to the ankle joint when developing contracture prevention device for the ankle, the previously proposed devices generate large pressure on the site that fixed by belts and "heel" site, and the pain had occurred in subjects with the instability of the device. We developed a new device overcomes the problems by the mechanism of the fixed by the subject's hip and footrest structure. In addition, we obtained the results the range of motion of the ankle to expand significantly by the continuous use of 10 weeks of students around 20 years old.
