Abstract(in English) This is a preliminary study to develop a sensor to evaluate absorption volume of diaper. As a sensor, a pair of electrode made of silver and carbon paste was printed on an insulation film. The sensor is attached to the waterproof seat of the diaper so that the sensor keeps clean after the urinary incontinence. Capacitance of the sensor increased with the increase in the area of sensor covered by the diaper which absorbed water.
