A Study of Indoor Route Guidance System Using Active RFID Tags

Abstract(in English) In recent years, large-scale commerce facilities and amusement parks are opened in various locations and, a lot of systems for route guidance are provided through the spread of smartphones and tablets. However, it is impossible to measure correct position when customers are indoor because of positioning accuracy is degraded. Therefore, such as those using Wi-Fi, sound waves, visible light communication, IMES or RFID tags, various indoor measurement technologies have been devised. In this paper, by employing active RFID tags and semi active RFID tags which are relatively inexpensive and possible to discriminate a number of individual RFID tags, the more accurate method for indoor route guidance has been studied.
