Abstract(in English) | In this report, a pixel value restoration method for color images corrupted by impulse noise is proposed. In the proposed method, the line structure direction is judged to achieve high-quality restoration. When a target pixel is judged as a part of a line structure, the vector median filter which is along the line is applied to preserve the line structure. It is a good method to preserve a line structure and restrain the false color generation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through experiments. |
