Management of Consent Forms Concerning the Filming/Recording of Classroom Video in Schools and the Use of Classroom Video/Audio Data

Abstract(in English) We have formulated guidelines for the appropriate use of video/audio data and filming/recording of classroom video in schools. In those guidelines, the most important stipulation is the informed consent of the participants. However, the guidelines leave room for further consideration since they do not specify methods for obtaining consent. Therefore, we have verified the Act on the Protection of Personal Information Law, School Education Law Enforcement Regulations, and Medical Practitioners' Act. This paper considers the characteristics of the participants, and from this clarifies the appropriate handling of consent forms and agreements.
