Abstract(in English) | For practical application of MCF, the establishment of its connectivity technology is essential. We have developed an optical connector with MT type ferrule for a plural MCF. In this study, we developed 2-MCF connector by using μ-Joint which is very small MT type ferrule. Physical contact (PC) condition for MT type MCF conector was studied in single-MCF and applied to 2-MCF connector. And we evaluated optical properties of fabricated μ-Joint type 2-MCF connector. PC connection and connection loss less than 1.16dB were confirmed. |
