Abstract(in English) | Despite the fact that lots of study have been empirically investigating the aesthetics, psychological and cognitive functions of the beauty are still unknown. The aim of the present study was to find out some aspects of the beauty by examining the effect of aesthetic experience in appreciation on time perception using a temporal bisection task. The results showed that there was apparently an overestimation of time after viewing paintings rated as beautiful or ugly, as shown previously that emotional states or arousal in stimuli presented to subjects could induce the distortion in time perception. |
