Preparation of WC@SnO_2 Core-shell Composite and Its Application in AgSnO_2 Contact Material

Abstract(in English) WC@SnO_2 core-shell composite were fabricated by a modified sol-gel method, in which nano-scaled SnO_2 particles were uniformly deposited on WC particles modified by PVP(Polyvinylpyrrolidone). And then the Ag/WC@SnO_2 contact materials were prepared by a briquette sintering - repressing - re-sintering process. The physical properties, electrical performances and microstructure of as-prepared Ag/SnO_2 electrical contacts were investigated. Results show that Ag/SnO_2 composites consisting of WC@SnO_2 composites have higher density and conductivity.
