Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report explains the microwave sensor using a multiple-antenna system. First, the security sensor using MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) antenna is introduced. Some experimental results in indoor and outdoor environments are indicated to show this scheme offers a high sensitivity in detecting the intruders. Second application is the monitoring sensor of vital signs. It is shown the microwave sensor with multiple-antenna system can detect the existence of the living body from the channel fluctuation caused by the respiration and heartbeat. Also, this technique can be extended to estimate the directions of multiple living bodies.
