Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a simple transmission method which is achieved by spatial division that cancels interference between signal streams using orthogonal directivities. MIMO technology and millimeter-wave frequency bands are useful for high data-rate wireless transmission, where the multiple antennas are used and signal processing costs becomes higher. To solve the problem, the simpler method with analog weight has been studied, however, the channel capacity is much degraded when the antenna spacing deviation occurs. Therefore, we propose a simple spatial division method by orthogonal directivities and show the optimal antenna configuration for the high alignment tolerance in 2×2 MIMO transmission. To confirm the validity of the proposed method, we compare the channel capacity of the proposed method to that of the analog weight method by numerical analysis.
