Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we provide results of field experiment for next generation airport surface communication systems which is called AeroMACS (Aeronautical Mobile Airport Communication System). We measure RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) and categorize airport surface into LOS (Line of Sight) area and NLOS (NLOS: Non Line of Sight) area. Then, we get channel response and calculate delay spread, average number of delay path and average delay time. Results show that delay spread is 0.98 μs and 1.98 μs in LOS area and NLOS area, respectively. Also, average number of delay path is 2 and 3 in LOS and NLOS area, respectively. In a future, we will evaluate the AeroMACS using airport surface channel model measured by this experiment.
