Abstract(in English) Discussion using e-mail is frequently conducted in intelligent works such as research activity. Although it is important for users to grasp discussion processes and their results, such work is actually difficult and troublesome because of mass of e-mail and speed of its increase. There have been research projects on the support for grasping the discussion processes. However, practical support has not been realized since target of most existing methods were very limited. This research therefore aims to develop the support methods for grasping discussion processes considering actual discussion using e-mail without hard restrictions. This paper mainly describes design of methods for extracting the e-mail discussion processes considering diversity of response granularity.
