Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The cloud technology makes a few VM hosts to run many VMs to introduce energy efficiency. Tiny VM configuration is preferred to concentrate more VMs into a VM host, tiny VM configuration is preferred. Such tiny VMs frequently take long time to execute heavy load applications. Although CPUs and many-core processors allow us to execute such applications on VMs, existing methods restrict computational performance and VM live migration. In this report, We propose a cloud environment which is introduced a computing host executes high load applications. Multiple VMs run agents which grant access the data required by the applications to share the computing host. The proposed method enables VMs to offloading their tasks to more powerful computing resources with little overhead. We also confirmed that offloaded computation is maintained safely even when live migration occurs.
