Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Epilepsy is brought on by abnormal electrical wave which occured in the part of the brain. That is one of the most common disorder in the neurological disorders that caused the disturbance of consciousness and the convulsions of part of the body or the whole body. There are the possibilities of a deterministic chatic system in ictal EEG for epilepsy. If that EEG has chaotic system, it can be described by differential equations. In addition, solving these differential equations enable us to predict epileptic seizure and reproduce epileptic seizure on PC. In this study, we target ictal EEG for epilepsy and EEG for healthy person, and discuss chaotic degree and differences by analyzing their attractors, fractaldimensions, and lyapunov exponents.
