| 抄録(和) | 筆者らはネットワーク制御における目標概念としてBring Your own Network (BYON)を提唱している.BYONでは,アプリケーション実行環境ないしはモビリティ管理に関わる計算資源を,サービス享受者の分布状況等を考慮して動的に近傍に配置すると同時に,これと連携した有線及び無線ネットワークを統合した適切な仮想ネットワーク環境をローカルに構成する.このようなネットワーク制御によって,ネットワーク資源の利用効率向上に加えて,アプリケーションにおる即時応答性,モビリティ管理の簡素化,及び制御トラフィック急増に対する対処が可能と考えている.本報告では,まずBYONの基本的な概念を紹介すると同時に,これによって得られる効果の見通しについて述べ,要素技術として仮想基地局の構成技術と仮想基地局間ハンドーバについて概説する.最後に,BYONの広域ネットワーク実証を目的として現在開発中のテストベッド,仮想化対応無線ネットワーク設備の概要について紹介する. |
| 抄録(英) | We have proposed the Bring Your Own Network (BYON) as a conceptual goal of network management, in which computational resources for application and/or mobility management are localized near the users considering the distribution shape of the users/devices and the mobility trend of them as well as configuring wired and wireless network environments in a coordinated localization manner. The BYON would enable to offer quick response in application, the simplified mobility management, and the reduction of control/signaling traffic in addition to high usage efficiency of the network resources. This report describes the basic concept of the BYON and the expected benefits brought by the BYON, and then the principle to configure a virtual base station and to conduct a handover between virtual base stations as essential techniques to enable the BYON. Finally, this report introduces the design of virtualization-capable wireless network which is under development toward demonstrating the BYON widely. |
