Abstract(in English) | Recently, content delivery service on the Internet becomes popular. For ISPs, on the other hand, the increase of investment cost required to maintain stable quality to deliver rich content is a problem, and ISPs need to cover the investment cost from content providers (CPs). For this problem, content charge in which ISPs charge fee for each content delivery to CPs seems effective. This paper considers the competitive environment consisting of two ISPs: one introduces content charge, and the other continues to use the transit charge against CPs. We analyze the relationship among players using non-cooperative game and derive the optimum strategy in setting charging parameters for ISPs. |
