| 抄録(和) | スイッチトキャパシタコンバータ(SCC)は磁性素子を必要としない電力変換回路であるため小型化・高電力密度化が容易である.しかし,SCCの入出力電圧変換比は基本的には回路構成で決定される固定値となってしまうため,電圧レギュレーションの不要な用途での使用に限られる,もしくは他のPWMコンバータと併用する必要がある,といった課題を有する.本稿では従来のSCCにおける一部のコンデンサを,インダクタとコンデンサとダイオードから成る「PWMセル」に置き換えることで導出可能な,高い降圧比を有するPWM-SCCを提案する.PWM-SCCの電圧降圧比はSCC自体の回路構成とPWMセルの回路構成の両方に依存するため,2つの設計自由度を用いて降圧比を決定可能である.PWM-SCCを用いることで従来の降圧型PWMコンバータと比較して任意の時比率において高い降圧比,ならびに任意の降圧比においてインダクタを小型化可能なことを理論的に示す.代表的な2つのPWM-SCCに対する実験結果,ならびに損失解析の結果についても報告する. |
| 抄録(英) | Switched capacitor converters (SCCs) offer high power density and miniaturized design because of its magnetic-less circuitry. However, input-to-output voltage conversion ratio of SCCs is not controllable and is generally determined by circuit structure. Hence, applications of SCCs are limited to unregulated converters or in combination with other PWM converters. In this paper, high step-down PWM-SCCs that are derived by replacing a capacitor in conventional SCCs with a PWM cell that consists of inductors, capacitors, and diodes, are proposed. A voltage step-down ratio of the proposed PWM-SCCs is dependent on both structures of the SCC and PWM cell, and hence, the step-down ratio can be determined using two design freedoms. Mathematical analysis manifests that the proposed PWM-SCCs achieve higher step-down ratio at a given duty cycle and smaller inductor design at a given step-down ratio than does a conventional PWM buck converter. The results of experimental verification tests as well as loss breakdown analysis performed for two different representative PWM-SCCs are also shown. |
