Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In content distribution services, such as CDN, a user is interested only in "what content he/she obtains" and not in "where content is retrieved from". This content-oriented feature of content distribution strongly encourages research for content oriented networks. In content oriented networks, network infrastructure itself has content oriented feature and has seamless architectural design concept with content distribution services. In this paper, current research trends in this content oriented network are carefully introduced. First, NDN (Named Data Networking), one of the promising content oriented network architectures, is briefly introduced. And some interesting approaches for router design and caching are explained in detail.
