Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Network coding is known to speed up peer-to-peer data distribution. In general, network coding means the mechanism which enables encoding, and consequently generating new data from multiple input data at intermediate nodes in end-to-end communications. In peer-to-peer data distribution systems, network coding means coding capability at every peer. In this paper, the relation between network coding and acceleration of peer-to-peer data distribution is explained, and then optimal network coding is discussed.
