Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we describe the overview of smart charging demonstration system and the configuration of communication part between vehicles and the control center at ITS World Congress Tokyo 2013 showcase. The smart charging demonstration shows that vehicles can automatically reach the predetermined position at specified time in compliance with demands from the control center which is distant form vehicles. The information exchange between vehicles and the control center is low latency by adopting LTE as radio communication media between vehicles and the control center. The implementation of application uses HTTP and WebSocket for manual cruising and autonomous cruising, respectively.
