Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Unlike the usual WPT system using coil resonators, the power transfer characteristics of a WPT system using dielectric resonators show very unique characteristics which utilize near field coupling and wave radiation. The aim of this study is to develop the system which utilizes this power transfer characteristics. In order to expand propagation distance, the power transmission device with a hornantenna attached on the aperture plane of shielding case is examined. The structure of the horn is optimized by using the electro-magnetic field simulation, and the examination results are reported. "Wireless power beam device" is proposed as the application.
