Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Electro-optical modulator is capable of high speed and high quality modulation. Some distortion is induced, because of nonlinearity of the operation in the modulation. The distortion might negatively effect the optical communication system. Here we report the discussion about relationships between operational parameters in the modulation and third-order intermodulation distortion, for entering the two-frequency signal to the Mach-Zehnder modulator.
