Abstract(in English) | Recently, the RNP AR (Required Navigation Performance - Authorization Required) approach procedure, which makes good use of the excellent capabilities of aircraft, has been gradually implemented starting at airports from which introduction effect can be expected. When the RNP AR approach procedure, which establishes the route with curved approach near a runway, and the conventional ILS (Instrument Landing System) approach procedure are simultaneously operated for the identical runway, aircraft approaching from different directions need merge near the runway. Since the situation is different from a conventional operation, safety may not be able to be guaranteed. Therefore, the feasibility of such a mixed operation is investigated in terms of safety, including the assessment method. A Goal Structuring Notation chart based on Safety Case, which is a structured argument, is now being made for safety assurance of the mixed operation. Radar data analysis and preparation of a real-time simulation of air traffic control (ATC) are now being conducted because those are necessary for the making of the chart. Furthermore, it is planned to check, using hazard analysis, whether there are any oversights in the draft of an ATC procedure, which is made based on the chart. The method of hazard analysis is being investigated. This paper shows the outline of those above and the knowledge obtained until present. |
