A 3D Model Matching Method with Projection and its Evaluation

Abstract(in English) We propose a matching method using projection for 3D CAD models whose structure consists of multiple parts. In such models, the overall shapes are identical but they may consist of different types of parts. The layout of their parts may also be different. We develop a view-based search method for these models that uses their projection data as feature descriptors and evaluate it using artificially constructed assembly models.
