Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Nowadays more and more people enjoy e-mangas, and along with it, color e-manga titles are becoming more popular. However, colorization task by manual operation is tedious and time-consuming. And so, some method for supporting colorization task is necessary. Conventional methods try to colorize manga only inside one frame, but colorization task can be more efficient if monochrome manga images are colorized using similar images which are already colorized. In the proposed method, each manga character image is segmented into several regions and represented as a graph structure. Then, colorization is performed by matching the two graphs of a colorized reference image and an uncolored target image. The proposed method has correctly colorized manga characters which even have some extent of posture change.
