QoE Estimation Method for Video Streaming Services Considering Loading Time

Abstract(in English) Quality of Experience (QoE) evaluations of video streaming services have been conducted by focusing on video and audio media quality. Although loading time is an important QoE factor of video streaming services, QoE estimation of video streaming services, including loading time, have not been carried out. We propose a subjective quality assessment method of loading time for video streaming services and clarified the QoE characteristics for both loading time and overall quality for video with loading time. We also propose a QoE estimation method and constructed a QoE estimation model using some of the subjective quality assessment data. We verified the accuracy of the model by using the remaining data and showed that the model has high estimation accuracy.
