Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we studied video quality estimation models for transcoded videos. PSNR and SSIM are well-known video quality metrics that are calculated by comparing the original uncompressed video and the compressed video (FR-metrics). However, we often cannot refer the original video in a transcoding server. We therefore considered quality estimation models that use videos before and after transcoding. In addition, we proposed a new quality estimation model in consideration of the features of videos to improve quality estimation accuracy. As a result, we constructed the quality estimation model for transcoded videos more highly precise than the simple models of FR-metrics.
