Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In interaction with a virtual object and put a sense of "tapping" to the virtual object is difficult. Because, it is necessary to return the reaction force of the high response in a short period of time for contact (= collision). However, the actuator of the high power is necessary for high responsiveness. Therefore, we focus on the impulse. Then, we propose a method of changing the mass of the rigid virtual perceived by impinging on the fingertip objects of small mass. This method can achieve of tap feeling using small motor.
