Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In surgery simulations, a computationally efficient deformation simulation approach which can consider the geometric nonlinearity is required. Especially, in case if haptic sensation is also presented to users, computational cost becomes large problem because higher update rate is required in haptic feedback. In this report, we introduce a co-rotated deformation model using an online re-mesh to reduce the computational cost. Then, we discuss the criterion for subdivision and simplification in the online re-mesh co-rotated deformation simulation. Finally, by performing evaluation experiments, we confirmed accuracy of deformation, computation time and stability of reaction force.
