| 抄録(和) | 人の評価判断は他者の行動や態度によって影響を受け,人は他者の行動に対して無自覚的に同調する傾向があることが知られている.本研究では,他者の選択行動を観察することによって絵画刺激に対する選好判断が変化するかについて検討した.実験では,参加者に3名の他者が2つの絵画のうち,より好ましい絵画を選択する場面を観察してもらった後,絵画に対する選好評定を実施した.実験の結果,他者が選択した絵画はより好ましいと評価されるようになり,他者の選択の結果について顕在的に記憶されていない絵画に対しても選好変化が生じることが明らかになった.こうした結果は,社会的影響が部分的には他者の態度や行動に対する顕在記憶に依存せず作用する可能性を示唆している. |
| 抄録(英) | Evaluative judgment is known to be influenced by other person's behaviors and attitudes. People tend to conform to other person's behaviors without intention. In this study, we examined whether choice of three other persons induces preference change for abstract paintings. Participants were asked to observe choices of others between two abstract paintings and rate the paintings. After observing choice of others, chosen paintings were more preferred than unchosen ones. The preference change was present even when participants did not remember whether others chose the painting or not. Our results indicate that social influence on preference formation does not always require explicit memory for other person's behaviors and attitudes. |
