Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since there have been many drivers who are not good at parking backward, automotive manufacturers have developed several parking assistance systems. These systems will work more effectively, if driver's behavior can be modified to promote an appropriate behavior for parking. In a previous research, it is suggested that the vehicle attitude at the start of parking affected the parking performance. Therefore, we measured vehicle behaviors under a simulated environment using an RC car. As a result, we have confirmed the effectiveness of feedback of the vehicle attitude at the start of parking.
