Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In disaster, people who cannot receive information well often become the vulnerable people. The disaster information such as the information about the well-being should be accessibly designed. In order to clarify design methods of accessible disaster information with the Web application in the resilient information sharing system which we developed, we conducted experiments by blind users with software which read aloud Web contents. We focused on the segmentation of contributed articles' information which is presented in one dimension when it is presented by a voice reading device. The result shows that the order of information and message of segmentation are not important for them. The information in a contributed article should be segmented into smaller parts to allow the users can find desired information easily, but the easiness depends on the user's skill. And the result also shows that the segmentation and the labels, private and public, are very effective for the blinds to acquire information easily which is reliable. |
