Abstract(in English) | We discuss a sharpening algorithm based on image warping. The enhancement of sharpness by image warping has the feature that there is no ringing effect and no enhancement of noise. The normal warping algorithm only discuss the shortening edge. In this paper, the shortening edge is additionally shifted depending on a criterion of local contrast of image. As a result, we can observe the enhancement of the visual appearance by black stretching or black shrinking with edge sharpening. |
