Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have previously proposed the bubble display using air bubbles in the water. In the Bubble display, the air bubbles generated in the water are used as a screen, and images are projected onto the screen by the projector. Moreover, users can interact directly with the images by changing the motion and form of air bubbles. In this paper, we evaluate the bubble display in terms of display performance and user interaction. We conducted user tests to measure the resolution and the viewing angle of our prototype, and confirm the effectiveness of interaction methods. We also discuss the availability and problems of the bubble display based on the findings from these experiments.
