Object detection based on the shape model generation from contours

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a method for object detection from an image. Automatic detection of objects from an image, is one of the most important issues in the field of image processing. However, It is a difficult problem to detect objects that does not know the position, posture and direction. Therefore, we detect an object using a contour is represented by a Cyclic Self-Organizing Map. Experimental result shows that the proposed method can detect an object is involved deformation.
