Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes the computational complexity reduction technique for the Downlink Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (Downlink MU-MIMO) using Vector Perturbation (VP). VP is one of the Non-Linear precoding methods, which minimize the required transmission power, by searching the optimal perturbation vector among the infinite number of perturbation vector candidates. However, its computational complexity increases exponentially with the number of spatial multiplexing mobile terminals. To reduce the complexity of VP, Sphere Encoding VP (SE-VP) has been proposed, which is based on sphere search algorithm, but its computational complexity remains relatively high. In this paper, we propose Multiple Sphere Encoding VP (MSE-VP), which uses multiple spheres, and clarifies its transmission performance and computational complexity by computer simulation.
