Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The downlink of multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) systems with collaborative interference cancellation (CIC) is considered. In this system, received signals are shared among neighboring user terminals in order to cancel inter-cell and inter-user interference. This paper studies spatial precoding techniques for MU-MIMO systems with CIC. It is analytically shown that linear CIC does not provide diversity gain when zero-forcing linear precoding is used, and a precoding technique is proposed which exploit the interference cancelling capability of users with CIC to improve the performance of users without CIC. The performance of precoding techniques is evaluated through computer simulations in the presence of channel estimation error and signal sharing inaccuracy.
