Complex Amplitude Estimation Accuracy Evaluation of APES Method Using Near-Field Source Localization with Emitted Signal of Authenticated Transceiver

Abstract(in English) In wireless communications, it is effective to enhance the safety complements authentication technique using the cryptographic authentication technology by using the feature quantity of the hardware-specific. In this paper, complex amplitude estimation has been considered for authenticating the transceiver. For achieving high complex amplitude estimation accuracy, amplitude and phase estimation (APES) method has been investigated. This APES however cannot separate the authenticated transceiver form the reflecting object which present close to the authenticated transceiver. In this paper, we propose a complex amplitude estimation method using near-field source localization for improving the estimation accuracy of the APES method. Moreover, we analyze and evaluate the error vector magnitude (EVM) performance of the proposed estimation method by computer simulation. As a result, the complex amplitude estimation accuracy of the proposed system is superior to those of the conventional methods when the reflecting object is present close to the authenticated transceiver.
