Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In previous research, the author, Yokoyama and Fujiwara proposed an MLD using a recursive vector generator for linear codes. Based on the algorithm, the author proposes a Max-Log-MAP decoding for linear codes. Though the proposed algorithm can be applied for any binary linear codes, the average computational complexity of the proposed algorithm becomes larger than that of the Max-Log-MAP decoding based on Viterbi decoding for the codes where Viterbi decoding is feasible. An analysis is shown to explain the increase of the average computational complexity of the proposed algorithm.
