| 抄録(和) | OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing)は,高い周波数利用効率およびマルチパスフェーディングへの優れた耐性を有する反面,時間波形のPAPR (Peak-to-Average Power Ratio)が大きく,電力増幅器における増幅効率が大きく劣化する問題が広く知られている.本稿では, OFDM信号に対する新たなPAPR低減手法として,トレリスシェイピング(TS)の符号語探索にクリッピング&フィルタリング(CAF)を利用した手法を提案する.さらに, TSの畳み込み符号の性質を利用することにより,サイド情報を必要としない選択マッピング法(SLM)と併用する手法についても考察し,これにより優れたPAPR低減が実現できることを示す. |
| 抄録(英) | Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) system has high bandwidth efficiency as well as robustness against multipath fading. However, it is well known that the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the OFDM signal considerably degrades power amplifier efficiency. Trellis shaping (TS) is one of the PAPR reduction methods, and in this paper, we propose a novel approach that uses clipping and filtering (CAF) for the metric calculation in TS. Moreover, we introduce a new approach that can embed selected mapping (SLM) into TS by utilizing the property of convolutional codes. Unlike the conventional SLM, the proposed system does not require the any side information. We demonstrate that the proposed approach can achieve better PAPR reduction capability than the conventional TS. |
