Abstract(in English) | Elucidation of the space-time radio wave propagation characteristics is always an important fundamental task to develop new wireless transmission systems. For this purpose, we specifically developed a scalable full Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) channel sounder to measure the radio channel at 11 GHz with bandwidth of 400 MHz which is a challenging frequency for future high bit-rate mobile communications. The measurement campaign in various indoor environment was conducted at Tokyo Institute of Technology. Individual paths are extracted from the measurement with the Space Alternating Generalized Expectation Maximization (SAGE) algorithm. For cluster based analysis, we used K-means algorithm for automatic clustering of the detected paths and the statistical characteristics of cross-, co-polarization ratio, delay spread and direction spread were investigated based on clustering result. |
