Abstract(in English) In this report, the error due to the mutual coupling in shortened far-field gain measurement is investigated via numerical simulation by the method of moments. A simulation is performed for two half-wavelength dipole antennas. Discrepancies are observed due to the mutual coupling between two antennas. The discrepancies in calculated distance and gain become smaller as the distance becomes larger. Ripples with a half wavelength due to a standing wave are observed. Averaging technique is proposed to enhance the accuracy of gain measurement. Another simulation is performed for a half-wavelength dipole antenna and an antenna with no-scattering. Ripples are not observed because mutual coupling and standing do not exist in this case.
