Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report describes our two studies of numerical analysis on biological effects of electromagnetic waves. Firstly, the induced currents of a human model exposed to MHz plane-wave are calculated using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The insufficient setting of the absorption boundaries in conventional fundamental studies is adjusted, and consequently obtained the appropriate induced currents. In addition, the relations with safety standards are discussed. Finally, the specific absorption rate (SAR) in the eyes of a human whole body model exposed to GHz plane-wave is calculated using the FDTD method. As a result, the body effects on the SAR are clarified.
