Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose a regularization based denoising method using soft-morphological niters as the image prior.. Closing and opening of the morphological filter are filters which approximate an image or its complement by the union of the structural elements. In this paper, we assume that the image to be estimated is invariant by closing and opening to define the image prior. However, Closing and opening have less ability to remove Gaussian noises. So, some components of the Gaussain noise appear in the recovered image. In order to reduce the sensitivity to Gaussian noise, we introduce the soft-morphology to the opening and closing for the image prior. We show the noise reduction by proposed image prior and compare with the regularization method that imposes penalty on the luminance gradient of the image.
