Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In this paper, a design method for the IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filter using the PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) is studied. In the previous work, an avoidance method of local minimum stagnation has been proposed, in which a penalty function was added to an objective function. As a result, if an additional range of penalty function was appropriately chosen, a design performance did not depend on a kind of function used for penalty function. However, the decision of additional range tends to be hard as design conditions become difficult. In this study, the additional range of penalty function is chosen by using the multi-swarm PSO. Several examples are shown to present the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
